They were all pretty weird kids. Anyway, I started getting really worried that all my business associates and, you know, other independent contractors who do our sort of work, would start to view me in an unfavorable light. I was nearly forty years old, being thrown down smokestacks nearly every other week by this kid who couldn’t have been a day over seventeen. It worried me for a while. After a few months, though, I developed a system; one where I could continue to occasionally lose to the young superheroes and still come out looking like I didn’t deserve to be on the Z-list.
